Don’t Blame the Crickets

If you resonate with the media platform model of business building, there’s going to come a time when you wonder if it’s working.

You’ll put stuff out there and you’ll hear nothing.

Crickets…as they say.

This can be frustrating. It can be demoralizing. It can really make you wonder what the hell you’re doing. But don’t blame the crickets.

What’s the real problem here?

The problem isn’t the lack of “response,” the problem is that you’ve been trained to classify only certain things as response. The even bigger “problem” is that we’ve been led to believe that just because you can’t measure something, that it doesn’t exist.

How do you measure introspection? How do you measure insight? How do you measure empowerment? How do you measure a complete paradigm shift?

You don’t measure these things because the idea of “measuring” was created at a level of consciousness far too low for most of our reality.

Measuring is about control. It’s about quantifying things for our mind so that our mind can feel useful and deduce and rationalize stories about what to do next.

But important things are far beyond our current capability to measure.

You broadcasting your “signal” through a media platform changes the world. (It also changes YOU, by the way.)

People will change because of it. People will think because of it. People will be affected because of it.

None of these things can be “measured” like the 2 dimensional direct response geniuses tell you to do.

Are you really going to do things only because they “work?” Is that how your life will be directed?

Or will you do things because you’re LED by something inside you to do them?

Does a media platform just work? Or does a media platform offer you an opportunity to grow into the type of being you need to become to make it work?

You’re not going to find an answer to that in a book or a course or someone’s weeklong seminar.

Answers to the important things aren’t available that way.
