A good friend of mine is running his first 48 Hour Mountain Biking Transformation this weekend.
We’ve been working together over the past year to help grow his business doing what he loves to do and is great at doing.
Now there are tons of mountain bike coaches.
But there’s only one Simon Bosman.
So how do you take that simple fact and build something that people literally cannot get anywhere else on the planet?
How do you literally create value and present it to the world in a way that is unique and returns rewards commensurate with that premium position?
Well, that’s what we do around here. And the recipe is quite straightforward:
First, you need a result that you help people achieve. A promise you make. Make it specific and powerful. Needs to reach the HEART of a living being here.
Next, you need a structure or framework for getting that result that people can understand. You make this out of nothing. You don’t copy from someone else. In fact, if something like this exists already, make another one, a better one, something that is your own expression. No great artist is known for “modeling” some other great artist. That’s called fear when you won’t reach deep to express YOU and take the risk of people laughing at you.
Finally, you need enough trust for people to believe you can fulfill your promise. You can’t buy this. You can’t borrow it. You can’t demand it. It is freely given to you in response to your demonstration that you are worthy of such a gift. You earn it.
