To me, filling every minute of your day with working just so you can “make it,” ISN’T actually making it.
That’s trading your most valuable treasure for something worth a tiny fraction of that value.
It took me quite some time to realize that if I can’t come up with an idea where I can create a livelihood or successful business with a small slice of my available time, effort and focus, then the best thing to do is keep thinking.
To do otherwise means you’ve bought into the idea of struggling your way to success. Or worse, “busying” yourself there.
For some reason, despite all of our advances in health, technology, science and thought, the time people have to LIVE life is more scarce than ever.
To me, this means something is very screwed up at a very deep level.
People aren’t dumb, but they’ve been trained and led to do dumb things.
Why do we spend most of our days working?
Why don’t we spend most of our days with family? Or simply doing what we enjoy? Or growing ourselves, inside and outside, in what ever ways we choose?
At first when you ask these questions, you might feel crazy. If you happen to ask one of these out loud, people will probably even tell you you’re crazy.
But you’re not crazy. “Normal” is crazy. Normal is a belief structure that trains humans to willingly be okay with giving over their life force to a dead system that has no life force.
“Normal” is the path we’ve been on for thousands of years designed to lead towards the total containment and control of living beings on the planet.
This belief structure called “normal” is protected by a fortified fence called “HOW.”
That’s the first obstacle you’re going to come up against if you try to walk out of this “normal” cage.
When the REAL you starts talking about working an hour or two a day and how you might walk towards the goal of making THAT your new reality, the “little you” that’s hiding in your brain is going to FREAK OUT.
“How will you make that happen? That’s fantasy land! How will you pay the bills?”
How, how, how.
It’s an illusion to keep you in the cage. And it’s effective! Looks at millions and billions of people doing things they hate every single day.
The tracks were put there for humanity to follow.
But the minute you choose to step OFF of the tracks, the whole illusion crashes down and ceases to own you.
Do you think it’s a coincidence there’s no word in our language, one that carries a POSITIVE connotation, to describe someone who achieves a LOT without actually working hard?
We’ve been taught there’s only one word for that: LAZY.
Perhaps it’s time to create something better.
