I rarely find a book so awful that I put it down without finishing it.

But that’s what happened last week. The book was such a negative rant that I quickly made the decision to put it down and move on with my life.

As I thought about it more, I realized that one of the reasons I disliked the book so much was that it was so “angry.” Oddly enough, it reminded me of something…

Ahhhh yes, it reminded me of me.

Before the years when I started to “wake up,” I was a very angry person.

Most of this anger came from the thousands of times I said, “Yes” to things when I should have said “No.”

When you do that enough, over enough years, a small fire begins to burn inside. You start to get a little frustrated… a little bit angry.

You think you’re angry at all of the annoying situations and people that seem to show up in your life, but the people aren’t really the issue.

They’re only reacting to what they see before them: someone who is not brave enough to live as the person they are.

They see someone who would rather “lie” to the world than risk the discomfort that might come from living truth.

On an energetic level, this really screws with things.

All of those things you’re scared to be in front of the world, that’s where your power is.

When you bring that to the surface and live who you are, your power of attraction increases.

People take notice. Clients perk up and pay attention.

You want to attract clients?

Be yourself without apology and then start taking action in the world. Be your best self.

And the next time you come up against a situation with a client where you have a decision to make, ask yourself, “What would my best self do?”

Then do that.

Imagine what your life might look like if you lived everyday as your “best self.”
