“It’s absolutely nuts how everyone is scared of everyone… most of the time…”
Those were the final words of a communication I received yesterday from a Client Letter subscriber.
I asked the sender to include the contents of the message in today’s issue. Read this carefully. It could very well change your life. (NOTE: The bold, italic, underline emphasis throughout the quote is mine.)
One discovery for me that came out of that was the fact that I was afraid of everyone. Afraid of their power because I was not using mine.
When I use my power, I essentially wipe out all my fear of people. Nobody scares me anymore.
As I write this, I am heading into a meeting where I will be pitching for a $200 million dollar deal… I know every person in that room will be scared of me! But I won’t be scared of them… not one bit.
And that’s only because they are running scared not knowing who they are.
All people are scared of each other. Even the people you are scared of… are scared of you! Once I figured that out, I realized the president would also be scared of me…. wow!!!”
Just look at the animal kingdom if the very practical importance of this hasn’t hit home. The last thing you want to do around a dog is to act fearful. That creates an instant reaction in the animal of anxiety. Bad things tend to happen after that.
It works the same way in humans, except we’ve learned how to hide it.
You deal with the fear and you will open the door to a new level of freedom and achievement that very few people enjoy.
You’ll notice a difference in your work with clients and in every other area of your life.
Unless there is a wild animal running you down….
FEAR YE NOT!
Easier said than done right? Well, I spent most of my life “running scared.”
I fixed that by installing a new belief that I was missing.
Today, I’m a completely different person.
