If you want to be an Incomparable Expert, then you’ve got to offer something to the marketplace they can’t get anywhere else.
Unless you’re the next Leonardo Da Vinci, you’ll probably be lucky if you can do ONE thing better than anyone else. You don’t have to be the best, and chances are, you’re not going to be. So don’t sweat it.
The good news is that you’re already wired for being unique. And that’s good enough, provided you know how to leverage that.
But most likely, you’ve allowed a lot of other things to crowd your plate. If you take the world’s greatest musician but ask him to also juggle and paint his face and do an acrobatic performance while he sings, you probably won’t walk away with the greatest of impressions about his abilities.
But if you just have him sit there and sing you a song… you both win.

I’ve worked with fitness marketing expert, Bedros Keuilian, off and on over the years. He has this principle he calls something like doing your 5%. In other words, spending the majority of your time doing what you do best.
