I spent many years looking for the meaning of life.
Had I the opportunity to live those years over again, I would tell myself that looking for meaning is pointless. We don’t have to find meaning when we can create it anywhere we choose.
One way to create meaning is to choose a group of people and show-up for them, as promised.
Maybe your choice of people to show-up for would be right the first time. Maybe it would take you a few tries to get it right.
Doesn’t really matter because, even in your “missteps,” you’d be leaving behind a trail of people better off having crossed paths with you.
This same decision works in business, except you might think about how your unique skills, abilities and insights better prepare you to show-up for one specific group of people over another.
If you get that combination right, you reap huge rewards simply for doing what you’re wired to do.
