I spent YEARS trying to figure out how to better live my life and be more successful in business.
I tried almost everything except the ONLY thing I actually should have tried…which was to stop listening to everyone else talk about what worked for THEM and just sit there until things were quiet enough that the answers could bubble up from within. (To clarify, the answers weren’t technically “within,” they were actually in the “field,” which we all have access to. You just have to connect to them with your awareness. They’re already there.)
But who has time for sitting around doing nothing?
If that’s what the voice in your head likes to use as a response to the suggestion that you connect with yourself, know that that little voice is not thinking about YOUR well being when it says that.
Because it knows that the moment you just sit there and truly connect with your REAL self, it’s going to cease to exist. That idea scares that little voice to death!
I remember the days when I went from business book to business book to business book. All of them were filled with other people’s answers. I devoured every one of them.
But the more I read about how other people had worked it out, the less equipped I felt to work it out for me.
Here’s a crazy question…
What if you actually had every answer you think you don’t have?
Would that be the best day of your life or the worst?
It’s not a trick question.
Because once you entertain the idea that those answers ARE actually available to you, then you’ve got a choice to make.
You can either invest your time connecting with those answers or you can just go back to chasing what you think you don’t have like the rest of the world.
Does a pigeon go to the bookstore to try to figure out what it’s supposed to do with its life? Does it go home and make lists of pros and cons and do brainstorming exercises and go to weekend retreats to figure out its purpose?
What if your natural state is to just KNOW your answers? What if your natural state is to just be you?
What if you were brainwashed into thinking getting these answers is hard?
