The Value of Quitting

We’re not supposed to quit. Quitters never win and winners never quit.

Meh.

Sometimes, it seems that quitting is the smartest thing to do.

I quit college because finishing wasn’t important to me. I was literally a sixty minute performance away. But I have no plans to do that.

I quit working for someone else because I no longer wanted to be told when and where to be and what to do while I was there.

I quit a career that wasn’t for me because I didn’t actually enjoy the DOING of it.

I quit listening to others about how I should live my life because I finally grew up enough to listen to myself.

I quit things that no longer fit so I could make room for things that do fit.

I haven’t quit many things I actually love doing, however.

When you love doing something, you rarely think about quitting. Because quitting doesn’t make sense.

It’s easy to think that to create more success, you have to do more stuff.

What if you have to do far LESS?
