Yesterday I was on the phone with a genius.
I get to speak with them pretty often. In fact, most everyone I work with IS a genius at some level.
But despite the diversity of “geniusness,” the challenge is usually the same.
If you can successfully structure that for the world, then they recognize the genius.
If you can’t structure that in a way the world can understand, then they don’t know what to do with you. They might even call you a freak! But more likely, you’ll just get tuned out. You’ll be invisible.
I’ve been on both sides of that coin. It took me a while to figure out how to structure the “crazy” things I think and say so that they can be of value to others.
That’s what we do as Incomparable Experts though. We build bridges from where people are to where they want to go. We provide the bridge. And we do it in such a way that, when they see that bridge, they say, “This is for me!”
The secret is to structure the genius.
What does that mean?
It’s the structuring that takes a copywriter and transforms him into an Incomparable Expert.
It’s structure that takes a PR coach and transforms him into a Media Relations Master.
It’s structure that takes a business consultant and transforms him into an Unstoppable CEO.
I haven’t yet worked out the process for doing this for yourself. It’s just something I do for one client at a time. I refer to it as my “stupid human trick.”
I take in a bunch of information about the client. Then I go right to work and literally do NOTHING for a week or two. Then answers start coming. That’s the process.
The point is that the structure is required so the world can see the value. Because structure enables communication of even the most complicated ideas.
If you’re wondering why the world hasn’t realized you’re a genius yet, that might be the place to look. Have you made it obvious to them in a way they understand?
