I’m releasing a late issue today because the morning was spent presenting the first webinar in a multi-part series called: The 4 Pillars Bootcamp.

During this Bootcamp, Michael Silk and I will be covering 4 main areas you need to master to increase your results as an independent professional.

Those 4 areas include things like mindset, client acquisition, the sales process (including how to charge premium fees), and even increasing your income without clients.

Complimentary access to this Bootcamp is reserved for Annual Subscribers to the Silk Report. (If you’re an Annual Silk Report Subscriber, the directions for accessing the replay should already be in your inbox.)

The details of this presentation are, of course, reserved for Silk Report Subscribers. But this morning’s presentation made me realize just how important MINDSET really is.

Get it working for you and you can go far. Get it working against you and you will most likely struggle.

Unfortunately, the majority have it working against them.

Here’s the weird part: Most people (including me at one time) are way off base in terms of what mindset actually means.

Most people think it actually has to do with your thoughts! I know I believed that for a long, long time.

The fact is, mindset has to do with a lot more than your thoughts. It’s simply not as easy as “thinking your way to success.” That’s why you can’t (dare I say) just “think and grow rich.”

It takes something extra, which is what we spent a lot of time discussing this morning.

If I could go back and start over as an independent professional, MINDSET is the one skill I would choose to master first.

I would work 100% on developing the mindset of a winner. And don’t get me wrong, given the programming we’ve all received, it does require some work.

But it’s work that is worth doing. And it is far more valuable than learning all the ins and outs of how to market your business.

Marketing is powerful. But mindset transcends marketing by a mile if you ask me. Especially in the client business.

If you are struggling to charge high fees, to have your clients respect you, and to stop getting pushed around, an adjustment to your mindset is probably the first thing I would do.

Like I said on the presentation this morning, when you get it right, magical things begin to happen.

See you tomorrow,
