There are basically two extremes on the business building scale. On the one end, you have the people who build businesses by getting and taking. These are the stereotypical “greedy” entrepreneurs I always heard about growing up.

On the other end of the spectrum, you have people who build businesses by giving and then receiving. In other words, they understand that the initial point of action is one of GIVING, not taking.

Last night, I hosted a Mastermind Webinar for Rainmaker Letter Subscribers (Really, the value of this subscription is enormous. New subscribers will get a recording of last night’s event.). One of the lines I mentioned in the presentation was something like this:

“Getting clients is a universal response for your decision to build your business by giving value first.”

So that means, getting clients is the product of the goal, not the goal. It’s like the cherry on top of the sundae.

Giving is an extremely powerful business building tool, especially for people trying to get clients.

Here’s just one of the most important reasons why:

When you are in a state of giving, it is impossible to feel needy. I challenge you to try it. And that’s exactly the energetic state you need to be in to attract people to you.

How do you get more clients?

Give more…
