Every day, independent professionals of all shapes and sizes come to my site and answer a quick survey question that pops up in the lower right hand corner of the page.
It asks a simple question:
“What type of information are you looking for to improve your business?”
The vast majority of visitors want more information about getting clients and marketing services.
I’ve discussed before how getting clients is just like planting a garden.
You do the work first, then you wait, then they come.
If you need more clients, you have to spend more time planting.
Plant your garden.
Plant your garden.
Plant your garden.
Most people I encounter who don’t have enough clients simply don’t plant enough seeds. I know that because they don’t have the clients they want. It’s a very simple equation.
If you want clients, then how about working in your garden every day?
Marketing expert Dan Kennedy always talks about his priority to “prime the pump” for future business by doing one thing every day to get new business.
How often are you working in your garden?
See you next time,
