Today we pull a recurring theme from within the Advisory Program…
Isn’t it funny that most of the challenge in business is figuring out how to reach the people you’re trying to help?
Should this really be a challenge if there are so many people with problems that you can solve? Don’t they want their problems solved? Why are they so darn hard to find?
What’s really the issue here that makes this connection such a challenge?
Do your prospects have the same problem? Are they struggling to find YOU? Don’t they wake-up say, “I need to get this problem solved?”
And here we come to the real issue. If they’re not waking up thinking about the problem you solve, then you have a big hurdle to overcome.
Rather than figure out how to overcome that hurdle, how about reconfiguring things so it disappears?
It’s usually easier to adjust the focus of what you have so it becomes an obvious solution to a problem they know they have and for which they’re actively searching for a solution.
It’s businesses like this that succeed.
And really, it’s worth a lot of work and effort to get this right before you start. Otherwise, connecting with the people you want to help is a lot more like pulling teeth than doing business.
