Today, one of the projects on the board is to finish a Laws of the Land email series for a client. I’ve got another one starting up next week.
The purpose of this sequence (you can see where it fits in the Platform Spiral model) is to deliver the story of YOU in a strategic and automated way.
The Platform model works to attract clients because it provides a never-ending device to demonstrate YOU.
But there are certain parts of that demonstration you WANT to be sure to include with each prospective client. Otherwise, it might take a while before the content in your media platform delivers all of the information a prospect needs to take a step closer to you.
The email series that runs along side the platform is designed to make sure there are no holes in your story of YOU.
But it’s not the writing that creates the magic. It’s the thinking required to do the writing that delivers an enormous amount of clarity to YOU about your attraction process.
You can’t tell the “story of you” without figuring out what that story actually is. Sounds kind of obvious, but you’d be surprised at how many actually try it!
And no one will want to hear that story if you tell it from your perspective rather than telling it in a way that makes it interesting based on the priorities of your prospective clients.
Are you attracting clients by design or are you attracting them by chance?
There’s nothing wrong with either route, but knowing which one you’re pursuing helps you set appropriate expectations for when to expect results.
