About nine days ago, my wife was 15 weeks pregnant with our 8th child. One day, the spirit of that child was there and the next day that spirit was gone. As you can imagine, it’s an upsetting time.
We all get the lessons we need at the time we need them. Sometimes in the present moment, however, you have no idea what the lesson is.
But as we move through an experience like this, one thing becomes very clear:
We are stronger than we realize. My wife is stronger than she realizes. And although she must pass through a very dark place in this experience, she is taking one step at a time.
And this brings me to you:
You, dear Reader, are stronger than you realize.
And I’m telling you all of this in an effort to have you realize that, even if for just a moment, today.
Sometimes you will willingly prove this strength to yourself. Other times, “life” will choose to prove it to you on its own.
All of the problems you currently are experiencing in your life and business… you are stronger than all of them combined.
But that’s not how our mind likes to view things. Our mind has a way of magnifying the picture so that we end up looking like a frightened ant standing in the shadow of an enormous monster.
When you realize that this is a story you tell yourself, eventually you understand that you can choose to tell another story. You can choose to paint another picture.
When I find myself in situations like that, here is what I do:
I sit there in the muck and listen to the stillness.
From my perspective, that is the way THROUGH.
What could possibly be worth the trouble in life to do this “work?”
Other people.
You are not here to play small. You are here to inspire, empower and encourage others through the example you set each and every day.
When you choose to be your best self, you ignite a chain reaction that inspires others to do the same.
What happens when you view YOURSELF as stronger? 10X? 30X stronger?
