When the Flower Blooms…

“When the flower blooms, the bees come uninvited.”
-Ramakrishna

Right there in that one sentence is the entire secret of the Platform approach to client attraction.

I first heard that quote from Srikumar Rao in the interview we did together not long ago.

When you create something like a Platform, the folks who value what you have come and find you. From there, you build trust with them. Eventually, you make it known that you have solutions to the problems they have. They invest in those solutions and you rinse and repeat.

I know a lot of business building experts make fun of the idea of “if you build it, they will come,” but I have to say… I’m starting to think that’s exactly how it works.

But you actually have to build something worth coming for.

And there’s the rub. Because if you’re just interested in getting money, well, it’s hard to keep your motivation up long enough to do anything great. Deep down, I just think people can FEEL that all you want is the dough.

By “great,” I mean becoming THE source of SOMETHING for a certain group of people (your prospective clients).

You might think that sounds like a tall order. And I guess it is. After all, there are billions of folks in the world and we all can’t be the “best.”

But “best” is a relative term. And better yet, it’s something that YOU get to define.

Today, the latest issue of the Rainmaker Letter is about to go in the mail. In it, I do a deep dive into one man’s journey from a “marketing consultant” to an Incomparable Expertâ„¢.

That man’s name is Steve Gordon.

Steve is building the thing worth coming for. And you know what’s happening… THEY ARE COMING! The results have been pretty spectacular.

If you want to see what he’s been up to the past year and how he’s riding a wave of success supported by a VERY big idea in his business, then you’ll want to get this issue.

Get onboard today before you miss it.
