Just launched a new offer for the Field Report newsletter this morning. $199/year including a Copy Bank membership. Since you’re all subscribed, please don’t subscribe again 🙂 Why do these video salesletters convert? I don’t know. I don’t know much! But the only explanation that seems it might hold water is that in a video like this, MORE OF THE OFFER gets consumed. In print, everything can be skipped. In video, it can’t.
That said, here’s a simple wordpress plugin for controlling the subscription button that appears about 5 minutes in.
I came across two old videos of Steve Jobs that I found interesting. In this first one, you see Jobs brainstorming with his team from NeXT. You also discover he paid $100K to have the logo designed… in 1985. Charging high fees isn’t always about being great, it’s just as much about choosing the right people to have as clients.
In the second video, you see Jobs talking about something most businesses don’t think about enough. For some reason, I find comfort knowing that even companies like NeXT have struggled with figuring out exactly who their customer is.
Bookmark this social media graphics cheatsheet the next time you’re getting graphics designed.
For the right smart business owners, investigating this piece of software created to track customer lifetime value is a no brainer.
Most companies charge for detailed access to credit reporting information. Credit Karma doesn’t. They’ve taken what is usually paid for, offered it for free, and created another strategy to monetize (credit card offers, loan offers, etc.).
You can do this in LOTS of places. You take an existing model, disrupt it, and everyone wins.
