We grow up with lies everywhere.
And one of the biggest lies we’ve been led to believe is that in order for you to “win,” someone else has to lose.
Just look ANYWHERE and you will see signs of this idea made real. Turn the TV on, there it is. Watch a movie, there it is. Read a newspaper, there it is. It has to be everywhere, otherwise we’d stop thinking that way.
This is just another example of the polarity and separation we’ve been trained to conjure and sustain where there really is none.
And the only reason we see so much “proof” of it “out there” is because we’ve allowed the illusion to grow on the inside. We’ve all done it together. All 7 billion of us. We all share responsibility for the current condition of the world.
In “business,” we’re trained to win.
We’re trained to “dominate” and “crush” things, to beat down the competition and come out the other side as the victor.
But these are the weapons of an individual who has bought into this lie hoping it brings relief at some point in the future. Ultimately, it’s a story we tell that hides the truth.
The truth is that the only people who engage in behavior like this are the ones who have no other ideas for how to deal with their fear, their pain, the separation and darkness they feel on the inside.
So it gets projected out into the world.
But these are tools of death, not life. And they have nothing to do with building a world where strengthening the common bonds between others is the focus rather than the constant reinforcement of our differences.
In business, we’ve been trained to get our piece of the pie. But doing that requires you accept the premise that the “pie” is of a finite size.
This is how “money” works. Because our current money is built on death. That’s why it feels like you never have enough. Our current money system is an illusion designed to mathematically perpetuate scarcity and the fear that goes with it. I’m not telling you anything you don’t know: YOUR HEART KNOWS THE TRUTH.
Any exchange with another human that does not end up leaving both parties enriched is not a life affirming act.
Isn’t it funny that love doesn’t work this way?
You can give love away all day long. And by the end of the day, you end up with far more than when you started.
The lesson here is that we control the vibration we carry through our day.
We can build our enterprise based on the lie or we can build our enterprise based on the truth.
We can perpetuate death or we can perpetuate life (and love.)
You have the power to choose. And that means, you have all the power in the world.
