It’s always easier to start from where you want to end up and work backwards to where you are.

This is why VISUALIZATION works… you visualize your world as you WANT it to be, as if it already IS.

This is even how PRAYER works… you visualize what you are praying for DONE.

Napoleon Hill knew this.

Maxwell Maltz (of Psycho Cybernetics fame) knew this.

Spiritual masters knew and know this.

And on a much more superficial level, this is how lead generation works…you begin at the OTHER end (the end of the reader/viewer) and meet them right where they’re at.

You’re not building a trail of breadcrumbs by dropping the first one at YOUR feet and then trying to find out where to drop the next one.

You begin dropping breadcrumbs at the feet of your prospect and leading them back to you.

When you start your lead generation thinking from YOUR end of things, the first question is “Now what should I do to get some leads?”

This is exactly the opposite of the right question. Because it’s a question you can only answer by GUESSING.

“Where are the people you want to attract?” That’s a much better question to ask.

Because that’s a question that you can actually answer. In most cases, you can FIND these folks. (Sometimes, you have to get creative…) And then you work backwards from there by asking the next question…and so on.
