Six years ago, my life took a turn for the better in a very big way.
Up until that moment, someone looking in on my life with glasses that allowed them to see the truth would have noticed something very quickly:
My life was ruled by FEAR.
My life was ruled by a feeling of “not being good enough,” even though all of the “facts” showed otherwise.
To try to make it in the client business with these issues makes for a very tough journey.
Mainly what happens is the exact same issues keep showing up in your life over and over again.
This, of course, is the universe gently providing you the lessons you need to learn.
The funny part is, if you don’t get the lesson, it shows up for you again!
Six years ago, I met a teacher who helped me change all of this.
I’ll be the first to admit, it wasn’t easy.
But the payoff is beyond measure. Because what happened was that I discovered how to RECLAIM my power that I had spent most of my life giving to others.
I gave it to friends, family, teachers, and authority figures of all types.
Basically, anyone who showed up in my life and “wanted” something got their goals put ahead of mine.
It’s really sad actually.
In my opinion, THIS area of growth is the biggest obstacle for service providers all over the world.
We’ve been trained to lock our BIG SELF away and throw away the key.
We’ve been trained to think we suck.
We’ve been trained to think we’re not “good enough.”
We’ve been trained to think someone else has our answers.
We’ve been trained to walk on the path toward misery.
That must stop.
The world tells you that this subject area is “soft and fluffy.” That’s because the world doesn’t want you to discover the truth:
That you have power beyond your wildest imagination.
For all the work I do in the area of marketing and business, I’ve finally realized that this deeper stuff is what I’m here to do.
