Permission to Be Crazy

So what happens the day after you get everything you “want?” Then what do you do?

It’s easy to get stuck in the mind loop where if you just got X done, or had Y, THEN everything would be good. But then what?

Just give yourself a minute to really think what would happen if you got everything you “wanted?”

Now the normal world calls these things we want goals and the actually getting of those things achievements. But when I zoom back and take a look at that process from a higher perspective, it seems to me that’s putting an extremely positive spin on something that can really make you miserable.

In that situation where you set a goal and then do everything in your power to achieve it, the STATE most people find themselves in for MUCH of that journey does not really come with a pleasant feeling. That feeling of “it’ll be better if I can only…” or that “if I could just get X to work, then I’d be good” or “come hell or high water, I’m going to do this!” is really a feeling of lack and need.

And I’ve realized that this process REALLY is a prison of our own making. We build it, we live in it, and then we repeat the process with the next thing we “Want.”

We do this in our personal life, and we CERTAINLY do this in our business life.

Just a never ending process of actually SETTING OURSELVES UP FOR A CONSTANT FLOW OF NEED.

In fact, we do this so much that when we DON’T have this feeling, well, that’s just too hard to live with! So our mind creates the next thing to chase so it can focus and not go crazy being with itself.

If you’re reading this right now, then the facts show that you are better off than about 95% of the entire world.

But that’s not what your mind is telling you. And that might not be what your current feelings are telling you.

Those things are telling you something’s not right. They’re telling you there’s not enough, or there might not be enough, or you really have to do X or finish Y or get that mess cleaned up with Z before you can be OK.

So what happens when you make a decision to be OK now? What happens when you allow WHAT IS to be everything you want NOW?

Well? Why not try it and see.

It’s a thinking habit that leads to a feeling habit that leads to a new way of being that will attract all manner of wonderful things into your life.

My recommendation, however, is NOT to tell anyone about this.

Because if you start talking about things like this, the world will call you crazy.

But in a world where most people are miserable, disconnected, lost and in some form of constant pain and dissatisfaction, perhaps them calling you crazy is a sign you’re onto something good.
