RE: No Leads No Loot
There’s a reason that I talk a lot about how to generate leads. The reason is the subject line of this message that I “borrowed” from a colleague:
No Leads No Loot
That pretty much sums it up.
To get your lead generation strategy rocking, you really need 3 important ingredients:
- An easily reachable market.
- Empathy for the pain the market is in.
- Value that can ease or remedy that pain.
Item one is key. If you can’t reach your target market easily, then generating leads is going to be hard work. Don’t underestimate how much trouble this can cause you. You have to be able to reach your market easily.
Second, you have to have a clear understanding of the core emotional complex of your prospect. This is where a lot of B2B advertising goes wrong.
So many people selling to businesses forget that businesses don’t buy goods and services… PEOPLE do. And people have problems.
They have high blood pressure, too many bills, kids that cry and scream at night and a 401(k) that’s tanking as they approach retirement. Those are the things you speak to when you’re communicating with your market. The real issues they face. It takes some work to find out what those are.
Finally, you need to deliver value. I’d suggest that you make “giving more value to the world than ANYONE else” a high priority.
Value gets noticed. And when you’re generating leads, offering value tends to promote action.
This morning, I was giving a careful read to a report called “9.5 ‘Game Changer’ Lead-Generation Strategies For Progressively Minded Entrepreneurs…”.
I love reading things that are full of unconventional ways of thinking and acting, and this report is one of those things.
There’s even one story in there about how one James Ulysses Blanchard III (paralyzed from the chest down) used a brilliant strategy to “force” the U.S. government to legalize the possession of gold… AND create a $115,000,000 a year business along with it!
It’s quite a brilliant lead generation strategy that he used to make that happen.
And it’s strategies like this that you can adapt and use in your business to generate clients.
I’d offer you a copy of this report except that it’s not for sale. But you can get it free with your subscription to the Silk Report Newsletter.
In fact, that report is just ONE of SEVEN that you get as a new monthly subscriber. If you choose the annual subscription, the bonus list is QUITE a bit longer. (You definitely don’t want to miss seeing what item one is in that list.)
You know the quickest way to generate more clients in your business? Generate more leads.
That’s a skill you want to master for sure.
See you Monday,
Jason Leister
