Today is my daughter’s birthday. She’s two.

When days like this come around, I sometimes take stock of what the hell I’m doing with my life and if it makes sense.

Right now, I have 5 kids. In a few days, there will be 6.

Clearly, my family is important to me. But my actions don’t always show that.

Sometimes, I get caught up in my own self-importance. I’m a busy guy right? I’ve got a lot of work to do. I’m going places. I’ve got things to do. 🙂

Eventually I come around, slap myself back to earth and readjust my priorities.

During a recent Business Insider interview with financial guru, Jim Rogers, he explained that his problem isn’t finding the time to be with his family, it’s finding the time to do his work.

That makes sense to me. I just have to remember it.

See you next time,
