Clear 63 Degrees
What would you do if you found out you only had a few weeks to live?
Situations like that bring enormous clarity in the blink of an eye. All of a sudden, 99% of the things we thought were problems just disappear.
We’re all supposed to remember just how important life is. But as the days go by, it’s human nature to slip back into the “taking it all for granted” mode. Nothing’s changed about the reality of our situation–that it could shift forever at any moment. But our mind would rather not think about those things and so it focuses itself on our todo list, or on our “goals,” or on all of the busyness of life.
To be frank, I don’t know what I would do in a situation like this if given only a few weeks to live.
But Mike Seddon knows. He’s a colleague of mine who is facing this exact situation at the age of 51.
A few weeks ago, he was told he has an incurable/inoperable form of cancer that will most likely leave him with only a few weeks to live.
In light of these developments, he’s decided to use his situation to give a gift to the entire business community.
He’s calling it, “The Last Webinar.” And he’s going to use this opportunity to share the clarity he is experiencing right now with anyone who is willing to listen.
If you want a reminder about what’s important and how to take that knowledge and use it to build the life you are here to build, then register for this webinar. It won’t be long and there may be some Q&A.
Life is complicated and simple all at the same time. Everything matters and nothing matters all at once. In the words of Randy Pausch (The Last Lecture):
“The key question to keep asking is, Are you spending your time on the right things? Because time is all you have.”
The webinar is tomorrow, Tuesday, July 7th at 9am eastern / 2pm London. (I believe a recording WILL be made available to all who register.)
If you think business is ONLY about making money, this might not be interesting to you. But if you are interested in using your business in pursuit of a life well lived, then you belong there.
A LOT of people are hearing about this today, so get your spot while there still is one available.
