If you give it away for free, why would anyone want to pay you for it?
This is the push/pull syndrome anyone who steps out on the internet in an effort to help people experiences.
The internet is a distribution tool that specializes in spreading free.
But most of us are taught to lock up our most valuable resources behind a wall and hold them “hostage” in exchange for money.
I used to believe this. But that led to going through business with this “holding back” in an effort to get people to DO something feeling that really felt terrible. It never flowed.
What I felt was trapped energy. Some might call it tension.
In martial arts, tension is your enemy. It really works against you on several levels. It can even get you killed!
When you allow energy to flow through your arm without tension, for example, the amount of strength you have far exceeds what you have if you “clench” your fist and trap your energy.
This same idea functions on the money plane.
This energetic tension creates the same problems in business as are created in martial arts.
Flow of energy is what you master.
It comes, it goes, it collects, it spreads.
But if I give freely, how will I “make it?”
This is much like the question “if I do what I love, how will I pay the bills?”
When you ask questions like this, there are no good answers. These are the questions the mind runs to to defend its position. This is the first trap that shows up immediately when you entertain thoughts that run counter to the program.
It’s a strong enough defense to ensnare most of the population. Just look around.
But take a good look out the window right now. We are the ONLY species on the planet (visible at least!) that has to pay to be here.
Don’t you think that’s odd? That the most advanced species on the planet is the only one who “toils” to provide for itself materially? The only one conditioned to worry about where tomorrow’s meal is coming from? And then FROM those worries and fears on a global level we actually create the reality to match?
That’s quite a coincidence. Except it’s not.
This is the social agreement we’ve bought into. And the problems start right there at the original acceptance of that agreement.
So if you want to navigate the money plane differently than others, it begins with going back to that agreement and choosing a new one.
Figuring out how to give freely and still realize abundance IS the dance we get to participate in.
But you’ll never dance if all you’re worried about is when the music might stop.
Holding on to “value” for fear of not having enough is a PROGRAM. You really want that one to run for the rest of your days here?
Your creative potential is light years beyond that program. Give it up, then get to work.
