So apparently, we humans are all about 99.9% alike. That’s kind of crazy when you think about it. Because if you just take a second to look at all the folks around you, no one really looks the same.
And all of that differentiation comes from only .1% of the stuff you’re made of.
The 99.9% gets you in the game as a human, the .1% is where all of the magic happens.
Now we’ve all been trained by the system to spot the things that are different. In the system, different is a threat. Different must be marginalized, assimilated or removed.
But in real life, “different” is how you get something done. And in the service business, DIFFERENT is the foundation of a lot of good things.
Different is the foundation of respect from clients.
Different is the foundation of way higher than average fees.
Different is the foundation of attraction.
That’s why I talk about it so much.
