Start attracting better clients (ones that respect you) today…

I had a great consultation today with a service provider that reminded me of something very simple, yet very important.

Working with clients is a whole lot like investing in real estate.

In real estate, you make your money when you BUY the property.

I repeat, you make your money on the buy. That means you don’t buy a crappy property in the hope that you can fix it up and then make your profit on the appreciation.

You lock in your profit WHEN YOU BUY. Then you know there’s a return coming your way.

With clients, it’s the same thing. You make your money by choosing your clients right.

You don’t start with crappy clients and try to turn them into something they aren’t. You choose the right clients from the getgo. That’s how you give yourself a chance to succeed.

As a service provider, much of your future income is made (or lost)
when you CHOOSE the clients you are going to work with.

Good clients view you as an EXPERT. If they view you as a hired hand, one of thousands from which they could choose, you are in trouble.

Good clients have successful businesses. They have money and they’re willing to spend it. Work with winners. Don’t try to make “losers” into winners.

Life is too short to do otherwise.
