I don’t have much drive to be a gazillionaire…
What I want is to be around my kids, with a flexible schedule and get paid very well for providing value to people all over the world. That’s my goal.
Oh, and I want to be able to do it from my house. You know, where the people I love tend to hang out.
Yesterday, I walked my kids in a stroller down to the coffee shop to have lunch. I had a taco salad and they had veggie burgers. And we split some italian cream sodas on the way home (I needed to buy myself some time to get back up the hill.)
I believe in quantity time, not quality time (which is a myth, don’t fall for it).
While I’ve tried to play the role of “money motivated entrepreneur” in the past, it just isn’t something that fits for me. I’m not saying it’s right or wrong. That’s a dumb argument to get into. What I’m saying is that I finally got enough confidence to be OK saying what I want and what I don’t want.
I don’t want to be a gazillionaire. I just don’t care enough about it.
My recommendation is that you get clear on the life you want to live, then work backwards from there. And don’t give a thought to what anyone says about your choices.
Now I work with clients all over the world. But I’ve rarely met these good people before they became clients.
Instead, I use the phone and email. And tonight, I’m going to walk through a simple process for you to write emails to sell yourself without being a salesly slimeball. 🙂
The goal is simple and effective, so you might be happily surprised that you don’t have to spend 30 years of your life to write great emails.
We’ll be spending some time tonight talking about how to generate an unlimited list of ideas for emails you send. A lot of people struggle to figure out “what to write about.” They won’t after this.
If you want to register before tonight, you get in for $49. After the event, it’ll go up to $97 to access the recording.
