Searching for truth is a lonely business, but nothing is more lonely than actually living it! Now you might think that actually finding the truth in some area of your life is a blessing. It can be, but first you have to go through a bit of a reconciliation period where things can get messy.
Because once you find whatever truth (in life, in business) you’re looking for, then you’ve got a choice: do you begin acting on that or do you try to forget what you’ve discovered?
In the client business, there are quite a few “truths” most of us already know. But getting the guts to act on those truths is an entirely different matter.
We know we shouldn’t let clients push us around… and yet we do. We know we owe it to our clients to offer our true opinion… and yet we don’t. We know what we want to get paid, and yet we often shortchange ourselves.
The reason we don’t act on so many truths is that we’re scared to death of doing it. We’re scared to death of what might happen. It gives us a queasy feeling. I’m here to tell you that that thing you feel isn’t fear… it’s just B.S. programming.
We humans aren’t here to go through life as scared to death members of the sheeple herd. Certainly YOU aren’t.
And so today, I’m going to be so bold as to make a recommendation to you. I’m going to suggest that you install a new copy of software into your being. It’s a new version that just came out.
The piece of software I’m talking about is something I call You 4.0.
This software is able to point out the B.S. you’ve been fed and help you see possibilities that have been sitting there for you all along.
The problem with the software we’re all currently running is that it’s designed to affect your vision. It controls what possibilities you are able to see. The old version of the software limits vision to the point where the only possibilities you see are the ones the software allows you to see.
The end result is millions and millions of people all being controlled.
The way out is to scrap your software and install a new version. Once you do that, your vision is going to change. You’re going to start seeing a lot of things you never saw before.
The big benefit for your business is that the new software is going to overwrite all of the old programs you were using for getting around. All of the habits that were ingrained in you about how to accomplish what you want.
With the new software, there are only two constants:
The first is “where you are.” You can’t really argue with where you’re at. The second constant is “where you want to go.” Apart from that, this new software will offer no pre-planned route. It will offer no “you should do this” or “you shouldn’t do this” suggestions.
For a lot of people coming off of previous versions of the software, this can be a very uncomfortable feeling at first. Without the training wheels holding you up, you might feel like you’re going to fall over.
This is normal. That’s the feeling of being alive.
But soon you’ll realize those weren’t training wheels at all, they were handcuffs put there by other people to control you. Doesn’t it make you just a wee bit hot under the collar? Or is that just me?
There is a warning that comes with this version of the software, however:
Because the first thing that’s going to happen when you install the You 4.0 software is that all of the sheeple running earlier versions will start pressuring you to downgrade and come back into the herd. This is the first clue that you are making progress.
“You 4.0” makes a LOT of people nervous. But it can’t be stopped. (Sorry Mr. Powers That Be!)
So here’s the question for today: “Should you install this new piece of software?”
The way to get your answer is to go over to the mirror, look yourself in the face, and ask a question. Here’s what you say to yourself:
“Was I put here on this Earth to be ruled over by another?”
If you can say yes with a straight face, then keep the old version. Do nothing. Your work is done. Go back to the herd.
If your answer to that question, however, is a resounding NO, then the You 4.0 software upgrade is going to change your life. It’s going to change your business. And it’s going to give you the freedom to live the life you are here to live.
The secret is, you’ve had that freedom all along, the old software just hid it from you. It actually made you scared of it.
