I’m in the middle of a cross country move with my family and we spent yesterday driving (today too).
We decided to make a road trip out of it. So if you see a Suburban flying past you on the highway with 6 kids and 5 dogs in it… wave. That’s us.
(Since I’m spending some days in the car, response to emails etc. might be a bit slower. Rest assured, I’ll respond ASAP.)
All this driving got me to thinking about how long things take.
How long DOES it take to get a client?
I’m sure some people would tell you that getting clients is fast.
I’m not going to insult your intelligence by saying something I know isn’t true.
Yes clients do come fast SOMETIMES. But it’s not the norm, at least in my experience.
That’s why you design marketing tools that are leveraged that allow you to talk to prospects for a long time.
In the client game, you lose to much by needing fast. You make mistakes that way and your clients feel that you want a certain outcome.
Instead, slow down. Understand that the best clients come when they are ready.
Design your marketing around that and you won’t be disappointed.
