Timing is important when you’re investing what we’ve been told is money.
But timing is even more important when you’re doing something more real…something you might call “emotional investing.”
Since I was raised in a pretty religious area, I spent a lot of time hearing about prayer.
Focused intention powered by emotion, that’s prayer.
Other civilizations have called it magic (the real kind.)
I’m sure there are many names for it.
And really, what you call it doesn’t matter because what you call it doesn’t change how it works.
For most of my life, however, I thought emotion was an EFFECT. It is what I felt in response to things that happened in my life.
But emotion as effect is more of a conditioned reaction to things. If you work on it, you can begin to find space in between event and response. Over time, you can expand that space to the point where, for the most part, you can CHOOSE how you respond in the face of any event.
As far as I know, however, you cannot short-circuit the natural byproduct of EMOTION as a cause of future reality.
When a power source (emotion) gets coupled with focused thinking, that affects material reality. You may not “believe” that but that only makes the magic invisible to you, it doesn’t change the energetics.
Most people have something “bad” happen, express a TON of “bad” flavored emotion and then send that out into the world to affect their reality.
Until you develop a conscious understanding of how your emotion is affecting your reality, you will tend to live life thinking it happens TO YOU rather than understanding that YOU are creating it.
This is where the understanding of how to time your “emotional investing” matters so much.
Emotion is power. It is like a lighthouse that draws to you things that resonate with the unique type of light that’s being emitted.
When you change the light, you change the world it creates.
