I’ve been working with a client for a year or two on refining his business and helping him make it something that is both attractive to HIM AND attractive to the people he wants to help.
Success of the business isn’t the goal.
Success of the HUMAN is the goal and part of that is a having a great business.
The idea that the entrepreneur should be miserable or exhausted or completely worn out so that they can “be successful” is something I think is completely nuts. It’s just a lie that’s been rammed down everyone’s throats.
One of the things I discussed with this client during a recent call was a shift he made internally some time ago that just now became something he wanted to make known to those on the outside.
This shift involves him taking a much greater level of responsibility for helping to facilitate a deeper change in the lives of his clients.
He knew the change had happened some time ago. But only recently did he know it was time to let the world know.
As I mentioned on the phone, this is how change happens, in my experience.
The change occurs and then, at some point after that, you notice it.
By then, it seems obvious–like common sense.
Compare this to how our minds WANT change to happen.
We want a big flash from above, we want an instant shift, we want it NOW and we want to KNOW it.
If you’re struggling, feel like you’re struggling, haven’t even gotten started enough to struggle, or just want something to change, then know this:
There’s a good chance the “change” you’re seeking has already happened.
And at some point, you’ll realize it.
In the meantime, you just keep moving forward.
