Oh boy, we’re gonna open up a can of worms today!
But really, most of us have been filled with a ton of garbage around the concept of money.
I know I was.
“Rich people are terrible, they oppress others, they are the first cousin (once removed) of Satan himself.”
Beliefs like this can really mess with somebody. And when you go out on your own as a service provider and try to make it, that mind garbage can turn everything into a huge mess.
So good luck going out and trying to become one of those successful people you were told are evil. With beliefs like that deep in your being, you’re either going to fail or go nuts!
Yes, you could charge $400 per hour for what you do, but that would make you feel terrible. So you charge $40 instead and struggle through the rest of your life. That sounds more fair doesn’t it?
Something about that just feels better. You don’t want to take advantage of anyone right? That feeling is not an accident. That feeling was put there… on purpose.
Mission accomplished says the system. We’ve got one less successful and self-confident person to do battle with. This poor sap will spend the rest of his life battling himself.
I’ve said over and over that being a solo service provider is really one of the best self-development courses you could ever take.
Going out into the world and charging for you value puts you face to face with the belief system that is running the show like NOTHING else I can think of.
You either change those beliefs to serve you and the rest of humanity or you pay the price yourself forever.
