Why Are My Clients So Annoying?

Do prospects “waste your time” and then vanish?

Do clients “haggle” over your fees?

Wonder when “they” are going to start to really appreciate how much you’re worth?

Do the same annoying things keep happening in your client world?

It’s easy to get stuck in a matrix like this. I venture to guess that the majority of service providers spend their lives here. And that’s fine. They’re probably doing the best that they can.

But perhaps you want something different. Today, let’s start on the path towards that.

The first step to getting out of this matrix is to realize that this is a story. You can’t do that if you’re in victim mode where things happen TO you. My recommendation is to get out of that habit as soon as possible. There really are only two types of people in the world: victims, and those who realize there are no victims. This step alone is enough to keep most human beings on the matrix side of the fence.

No victims? Are you serious? What about XXXXXX?

This isn’t something your brain rationalizes folks, it’s a decision you make about how you live life.

The second step, once you develop that awareness is to start asking yourself what you’re getting from your story? What are you getting from all of those “annoying” client things?

Attention? Vindication? Focus? An outlet for your anger? The list could be quite long. Of course I can’t answer this for you, but YOU can. Start by looking yourself in the mirror and telling yourself the truth.

The final step, once you realize what you’re getting from all of this, is to start practicing giving it to yourself without the story. You’ll never get from another what you cannot gift to yourself.

These three steps will create profound change. If you don’t like what happens, just let me know and I’ll send you a refund for every penny you paid for this advice 🙂
