The Rut and the Groove

“I wake-up every day and pretty much do the same thing. I love the rhythm of my life. I’m really in the groove.”

“I wake-up every day and pretty much do the same thing. I hate this monotony. I’m really stuck in a rut.”

While each phrase could describe the very same set of circumstances, each one very clearly describes a completely different reality.

What’s the difference between these two statements?

The perception. And the story created from that perception.

This is the power you have. The power to look at things in ways you choose and create from there.

That IS an act of creation, whether or not you realize it.

The masses have been trained to laugh at anyone who would look at circumstances and paint them in a positive and advantageous light.

“You’re naive.”

“You’re looking through rose colored glasses.”

“Come back to Earth…”

But this is the power you have. To put on whatever kind of glasses you want.

Is it a rut? Is it a groove?

Yes it is.

The glasses you choose determine the reality you create.

As Wayne Dyer said, “If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”
