The Launch That Never Ends

I’ve never been a fan of the product launch. Surely it works. But the problem is, it’s just not my style.

And I know enough about myself that doing things that “aren’t me” is a surefire path to frustration.

So over the years, I’ve had to develop another route to walk. This route isn’t right for everyone. But it DOES tend to be attractive to people who are experts and to people who are more dedicated to the trust that is placed in them as an advisor than anything else.

The traditional product launch is a linear journey.

The platform model of attraction is more like a “launch that never ends.” It’s a system of interlocking circles that never stops spinning.

On the surface, these two things might not seem all that different. But on the level of feeling, I think they communicate very different things.

First, on the level of philosophy. The “launch that never ends” provides a world where a solution is pursued by a client on their terms. That’s the feeling that is communicated, not one where they feel like they have to “act now.”

This is how I want to treat people, so that’s what I do.

Second, the “launch that never ends” is a situation where there really are no ultimatums. There’s ALWAYS another chance. That means this system is NOT meant to dig deep into the prospect pool and dredge out as many buyers as possible. The goal is to take a walk through the field and pick the flowers that are ready to be picked.

That’s why the attractive force is the priority. The “flowers that are ready” kind of just jump into your hand.

Like I said, there’s nothing “wrong” with the product launch, especially if you’re offering products.

But when you get to selling YOU, things get far more complicated. ESPECIALLY if you are in a business where you sell and then YOU also deliver.

That’s a situation where the selling act should not, CANNOT degrade the trust the client has in you. Do that at your own risk. Do that at the risk of tainting everything that comes after that.

That’s not a risk I’m willing to take.

Take the Platform Lab. Enrollment is open NOW for the next session starting Tuesday.

This is one of my circles. It repeats without end. There is no pressure. No hype. No buy or die feeling. Nothing. It’s there for the people who are ready.

I know I’m going to offer another session in the future. I know this because this is the problem I solve better than anyone. I help service providers develop systems that ATTRACT. If the future is the right time for you, then wait. If now is the right time, here’s your chance.

If your situation does not lend itself to be a “flower ready to be picked,” then my goal is to walk right past you without damaging that future possibility.

That’s why I pay great attention to what you might call “Attraction Banking.”

Attraction banking is not like regular banking. It’s a completely bizarre animal. Even more bizarre than the fraudulent fractional garbage we have now 🙂 “Attraction Banking” is where you make a deposit of 100 and never a withdrawal of more than 10.

That difference between deposits and withdrawals is what creates the attraction.

That is the real fuel supply for the “launch that never ends.”
