RE: Scarcity that works

Scarcity is an interesting and powerful beast.

Used well, it can focus your prospect’s vision, give them enormous clarity and prompt them to make a decision about you and what you offer.

Used poorly, scarcity can make you look stupid… or worse, like a total liar. It probably doesn’t take you more than 10 seconds to think of someone you know that’s doing this and looking dumb in the process.

It probably comes as no surprise, but a poorly executed scarcity play doesn’t exactly help with the whole client attraction thing.

In my younger days, I’ll admit I executed scarcity poorly. I was pretty much a hack. When I was first getting started, I tried just about everything to get the people coming. Most of it failed because I really didn’t understand the dynamics of how scarcity works.

Scarcity in its most effective form isn’t some devious marketing device you slap on something in an effort to get people to buy it. The most effective form of scarcity, in my experience, is when you actually BAKE IT IN to the product or service.

It becomes an integral component of what you have. That makes the scarcity real. It makes it believable, because it’s the truth.

This is why I focus so much of what I do around events.

Events come, events go. Events contain within them a natural force of scarcity. I don’t have to push, I don’t have to sell. If you miss the event, that’s fine, but you miss it. Get it while you can because it won’t be around forever.

You don’t have to blow smoke, you don’t have to be sly or tricky or slick.

It’s really a beautiful thing and it’s an idea that you can use in many places throughout your work with clients.

Tonight is one of those events I’m talking about. The focus is on client management. It’s a huge topic really and something that can make a major impact on your service business.

But as always, my goal is not to overwhelm you with information. The goal is to simplify it and distill it down into a VERY few (three to be exact) moving parts that you can apply to your business starting immediately.

But you won’t get it if you don’t register. There will be a recording for everyone who registers, but it won’t be available for sale as a single product.

So now’s the time. I’ll keep the registration open until a couple of minutes before the event begins at 9PM EST.

Register here before you miss out.
