Just a heads up if you missed it, Robert Cialdini is out with a new book called: Pre-Suasion: A Revolutionary Way to Influence and Persuade. Check it out.
Here’s an article featuring a new healthy drive-through franchise in Arizona called Salad and Go. As best I can tell, it’s a drive-through-only model with some outside seating at each of the six current locations.

I do a fair amount of work with Facebook advertising. And I add this item just to let you know, it’s one of the buggiest ad systems I’ve used. It reminds me of the “Microsoft Syndrome” which is where you could do the SAME THING TWICE and get two different results.
The biggest annoyance is that the conversion tracking just DOESN’T work half the time. I finally managed to get it going for a client simply by creating a brand new campaign from scratch. It was exactly the same as the other one, used the same tracking pixel, everything… but this one worked.
Just putting this in here in case your experience has been similar. It’s not YOU. 🙂
I’ve not had a reason to use AWProtools until recently, but it’s pretty sharp. It allows you to move people from list to list or “tag” them (kind of) to allow more targeted mailing based on user BEHAVIOR.
AWeber will never be what something like Infusionsoft is in terms of marketing automation, but at least you can do a respectable job with the addition of something like AWProtools. The function where it deletes unsubscribed names from your list (otherwise AWeber counts them in your “subscriber” count) is worth it all by itself. If you use AWeber and you haven’t tried this, do it.
