Finding Happiness

A few days ago, we talked about what “success” feels like.

I shared my experience of the state which I best described as, feeling like nothing.

As the story goes, success is supposed to be somewhere on the road to happiness. So what does happiness feel like?

Well, it doesn’t feel like the pursuit of happiness. Much like the pursuit of success, that’s got its own flavor.

But happiness better feel good because so many people are working like dogs to get to that place.

You can look for happiness for a long time. I did.

But the joke was on me. Because I eventually realized that “happiness” isn’t even a destination. It’s not on the map.

And…..it doesn’t even feel like anything either.

So we’re all investing tons of time and energy looking for a place that doesn’t exist.

No wonder so few people find it.

So what is happiness then?

Dare I say it is the vibration of your natural state.

So if it’s your natural state, why is everyone looking for it so hard?

Now we’re getting somewhere with the questions!

Happiness is created when you allow your natural state of being to emerge from underneath the story you currently carry about what it means when your current reality does not match your desired reality.

Happiness is always there. You remember it, you return to it, you don’t find it.

Can you get back there without actually going anywhere? That’s the question.
