Beyond Widget Thinking

One of the most widespread issues that service providers deal with is UNDERCHARGING for everything, almost all the time.

Have you ever wondered why this is such a widespread issue? How’s that possible?

  • Maybe it’s self-image.
  • Maybe it’s experience.
  • Maybe it’s some weird quasi religiosity-fueled mind virus where you were taught money is evil or something.

Today, let’s take a skip and a hop down the rabbit hole and sort this out!

So what is the world system REALLY about? The system is about the death of the individual, the erosion of individual sovereignty, the re-education of the human population into nameless, faceless, slaves.

Hopefully that’s not too subtle to get the point across 🙂

We are taught to undercharge because we are taught to approach life as though we are a work producing widget.

A nameless, faceless, widget.

“Well, Widget 34 is only charging $75/hour, so I can’t go much above that.”

“I see that Widget 763 works 15 hours a day, so we’ll have to meet or exceed that.”

“I see that Widget 435 hasn’t taken a vacation in 12 years, there’s no way I can take Friday off and not fall behind.”

Widget thinking is everywhere because widget thinking is necessary to control people.

If you think you’re special, you’re not so easy to control.

But you’re not so special right? After all, you got D’s in high school, your SAT scores were terrible, your credit score is in the toilet and you’ve overdrawn your bank account 40 times this month (why is it that there’s a stigma about doing this from the banking industry when the folks who do this are some of the most profitable customers they have? Hmmmmm, something’s fishy…….)

You’re not special, you’re just a nameless, faceless, widget in the making.

See how this works?

When you’re taught to “wait your turn” in school, is that so you learn to be polite? I used to think so. But I’ve done way too much research into the insidious design of the “educational” system to believe that any more.

School teaches you to “know your place.” It teaches you, in subtle and not so subtle ways, to not stick out for risk of ostracization. It teaches you the habit of constantly “checking” your internal impulses against the collective.

These are not life skills, this is indoctrination and mind control.

When you get out in life, there’s no such thing as “waiting your turn.” The truth is, when it comes to creating the reality you want, it’s everyone’s turn ALL THE TIME.

Why are schools split into classes? Not to keep the ages separate, because that’s a stupid way to learn that completely lacks the diversity of thought required to increase critical thinking. Schools are split into classes so you get used to arbitrary boundaries, so you understand there’s a hierarchy in life, so you understand there’s an “Us” and a “Them.” It’s all for a reason. And it has nothing to do with anything in your best interest.

The point in all of this is that the conditioning is deep and comprehensive.

And that conditioning plays a HUGE role in your ability to reap rewards for sharing the gifts you’ve been given with the world.

So here’s the lesson:

The laws of widgets don’t apply to living beings like YOU. They don’t apply to you UNLESS you start acting like the widget the system is pressuring you to be.

Is that how you want to act? Maybe it’s time to give that up?

Maybe it’s time to say you’re actually really special and then ACT like it?

It’ll make the other Widgets VERY uncomfortable. Because they feel BETTER when no one is winning. That way, they don’t have to endure the discomfort that comes with working to be the best version of yourself.

It’s not their fault, it’s how they were trained. They’ve been manipulated emotionally so that Up is Down and Down is Up.

It’s how I was trained too. But then something broke inside and the real me started coming out. Oops.

If you want to charge like you’re a Widget with a heartbeat, go ahead. But know that you’re living SOMEONE ELSE’S program for you. You didn’t make it up.

It was given to you with the hope you’d swallow it whole and let it become your world.
